BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

The past 4 days have been wonderful. Spent Saturday at an EXPO to share the wonderful Shaklee products, as an Independent Distributor.  The Expo proved to be energizing......I had GOOD contact with 5 people who are interested in better health.
After that, had a great dinner with my Son, Daughter-in-law, Granddaughter, Husband and a close friend. 

Yesterday I turned 71 year old and I am on no medication. I spent my Birthday with my husband and 2 friends. What a great Birthday weekend.
Looking forward to next year and staying healthy. If you are interested in doing the same, don't be afraid to let me know.....I might be able to suggest a way of life and a wonderful weight loss program.

BATTLING DISEASE

I'm not very good at writing but feel that I should start to express how I feel, especially after hearing a young man the other day talk about his battle with MS.  He is only one of many young and old people fighting this and many other diseases that I wish I could make go away.

I am a very lucky  person because back in 1984, I was diagnosed with cancer, the dreaded word back then, never knowing if one would survive or not. This was 13 days before my 43rd birthday...Oops,once again, there’s that lucky number 13 which I never thought about until this very minute.  It has brought a lot of  luck to my family for many years.  Anyway, on the 13th of December, I was told that my cancer was not as serious as first thought and I would only need 36 radiation treatments.  Things went very well and at that time, I knew that God had a plan for me.  I had been taking a lot of nutritional supplements before and during all of my testing and treatments and still do.  I knew then that I had to share my good fortune with others.

There are so many illnesses that could be helped  through proper nutrition and   wouldn't it be nice if we could  transform our life and the lives of others.

Heart Health

I went to a wonderful luncheon last week for the American Heart Assoc. 
While hearing testimonies from people who have been helped by the medical profession, I couldn't help but think how great it would be if people protected themselves before a serious problem occurs.
